Ten months later, the economy still isn’t “revived”, business has been “reinvented” more times than anyone can remember, and yet AmEx is still pushing this worn out notion. Considering that this time they’re using the time-honored trumpet call “reveille” – a call used by the US Military – the institution Americans (ie: business people) used to use to stand up to the enemy, not “reinvent themselves” as a means of letting it keep what it’s taken – this marketing strategy has become even more disgraceful. Hardly possible, but true.
